Mohamed Fathy, Ph.D.
Mohamed Fathy, Ph.D., is a linguist and educator with extensive academic and professional expertise. He graduated from Ain Shams University in Cairo with a degree in German Studies and later earned his Ph.D. in Linguistics from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies.
Dr. Fathy currently teaches Arabic at distinguished institutions such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Training Institute and the Asia-Africa Language Institute. He also lectures on English and intercultural communication at universities including Daito Bunka University, Tokyo Keizai University, Dokkyo University, and Rissho University.
In addition to teaching, Dr. Fathy is an accomplished conference interpreter, providing services for high-profile Arab dignitaries, and a seasoned film subtitler. His work includes translating the Japanese classic Always: Sunset on Third Street, among numerous other films.
He is the author of Simple Travel Arabic conversation book with Key Words, a practical guide to Arabic conversation for travelers. With a career that bridges academia and practical application, Dr. Fathy is a recognized authority in linguistics, translation, and intercultural communication.
